MEXC Zero Fees and Cashback: What Counts Toward Your Rebate

A zero-fee trade has no trading fee to refund. Check MEXC's pair and account conditions, bonus and API exclusions, and the approved fee report before estimating cashback.

Trade Cashback ResearchUpdated: 8 min read

If your approved eligible trading fee is zero, fee-based cashback is zero. You have no trading fee to recover for that transaction. A referral code or large trading volume does not create a separate guaranteed payment.

Start with the fee on the fill

MEXC zero fees and cashback answer different questions: what did the exchange charge, and what part of that charge qualifies for the service? Check the executed order's fee, product and payment asset before calculating a rebate. A deposit, position value or monthly turnover is not the eligible-fee amount.

Use the MEXC registration guide for invitation and account-linking steps. This article explains the fee base after those checks; it does not establish that your account is approved for Trade Cashback.

What the official pages showed on 24 October 2026

MEXC's Spot zero-fee FAQ, dated 23 December 2025, describes zero maker and taker fees across Spot pairs and excludes API and several professional account categories. A newer MEXC fees guide, published 20 October 2026 with tariff examples dated 8 October, distinguishes maker, taker, special-rate and zero-fee-tagged trades.

These descriptions do not establish one universal tariff for every account today. The public fee overview also warns that rates can vary with events or region and points to actual trade history. Check the current pair and account rate; do not apply the older FAQ's broad wording to every new order.

Futures zero-fee promotionCheck account eligibility, pair, remaining volume quota and expiry.
Account registered through an affiliateA cooperation-specific tariff can differ from the default schedule.
API or a bonus offsetA charged fee may still be excluded from affiliate commission.

The live 0-Fee Fest conditions describe automatic account evaluation. Some pairs have a volume quota and expiry; later trades return to the standard rate after the quota is exhausted. Eligibility and allocations may change. A label seen on one pair or account does not certify another, and a later trade can have different conditions.

Affiliate accounts can have a different tariff

MEXC's affiliate-channel fee explanation, dated 24 April 2026, says an account registered with an affiliate code can follow the relevant cooperation agreement instead of the default rate. The amount charged by the system controls. Confirm that rate before relying on a public example.

Trade Cashback's current offer and country checks are on the MEXC service page. The exchange's commission-sharing figure and the service percentage describe separate arrangements. This review does not verify a combined effective rate, so adding those percentages would not establish your refund. For an account-path comparison, see OKX versus MEXC cashback.

Why paid fees can still produce no cashback

MEXC's Affiliate FAQ bases commission on fees paid rather than volume. It excludes the part offset by bonuses and excludes API trades from affiliate commission. A nonzero order fee alone therefore does not prove there is commission available for a service refund.

The affiliate portal usage guide separately identifies bonus deductions, non-API commission records and pending versus distributed amounts. Exchange settlement and Trade Cashback's approval, available balance and payout process are different steps. A marketing estimate or pending entry is not a completed payout.

Three examples using the same hypothetical service share

Assume a hypothetical service share of 25% of approved eligible trading fees. The amounts below are illustrative reports, not current MEXC tariffs, a campaign quote or a promise that any account qualifies. All figures use USDT for comparability:

ExampleTrading fees paidApproved eligible feesExample cashbackTrading fee left
No trading fee charged0 USDT0 USDT0 × 0.25 = 0 USDT0 USDT
Partly eligible paid fees20 USDT12 USDT12 × 0.25 = 3 USDT20 − 3 = 17 USDT
Paid fees excluded from cashback20 USDT0 USDT0 USDT20 USDT

The middle row starts with 20 USDT actually paid, but only 12 USDT approved as eligible. Applying the example share to the full 20 would overstate the refund. The final column subtracts cashback from trading fees paid; it does not include other costs. Compare consistent products and execution assumptions rather than selecting a setup for its refund amount alone.

A zero-fee trade and an excluded paid trade can both show zero cashback while having different costs. Paying fees or increasing trading volume merely to generate a rebate does not make the transaction cheaper. The cashback calculator helps explore assumptions; confirmed fee reporting determines the service result.

Zero trading fees do not remove every cost

Funding is separate from order execution fees. MEXC's funding-rate guide describes payments between opposing perpetual-position holders, with the applicable schedule shown for each pair. Check that record separately; the cashback examples above do not refund funding.

Spreads, slippage, withdrawal charges, liquidation costs and trading losses also fall outside the examples. A zero maker or taker charge does not remove these exposures. Read MEXC's risk notice; cashback does not protect a deposit or an open position.

Check these records if your cashback is missing

  1. 1Identify the exact product and pair, execution time and whether the order used the web, app or API. Use the filled trade rather than an unexecuted order.
  2. 2Check the current account tariff and any zero-fee label, quota and expiry. For an earlier trade, keep evidence of the conditions at execution time.
  3. 3Inspect the actual trading fee and asset in trade history. Keep bonus offsets separate. For Spot, the FAQ documents the Spot Statement fee filter on the web and Spot History filters in the app.
  4. 4Confirm the exchange relationship and your Trade Cashback UID review. Compare the correct reporting period and whether a fee entry is eligible, pending or approved.
  5. 5If a discrepancy remains, provide support with the public UID and relevant trade reference through the service support route. Do not send passwords, API keys, verification codes or identity documents as trading-fee evidence.

An exchange's commission settlement schedule does not replace our payout terms. Follow the setup guide for the account review. Avoid assuming a missing entry is a reporting fault until the fee, exclusion and relationship checks are complete.

Review scope

Trade Cashback reviewed the linked public sources on 24 October 2026. We did not access a personal affiliate panel, certify an account-specific tariff, create an exchange account, claim a reward or place a trade. Where the public descriptions differ, this guide preserves the difference and directs readers to their actual account and execution records.

Reviewed on 24 October 2026. Public MEXC sources describe different fee scopes; your account, pair, execution and campaign conditions determine the actual charge. No personal tariff, universal zero-fee offer or combined cashback rate is verified here. Calculations use hypothetical service percentages. Trade Cashback may earn affiliate commissions and pays service cashback only on approved eligible fees under its terms. Nothing here is investment advice.
